Completing each other..

Good day to you.

I would like to share about Man and Woman. Yesterday I heard preach from one of my local area priest.
He said that, the rib will protect the heart but without the heart, rib will be useless.

That symbolizes Man and Woman. We are different in nature but need each other to live. We can see that a some of the male said female cause a lot of problem and better not to have them and vice versa. But the fact is that, we need each other to survive.

The key of peaceful relationship with each other is understanding with each other. We do not have to be 100% the similar with each other to colaborate. Popular saying is "Man are from Mars and Women are from Jupiter". The person who created the saying is a wise person for he truly understand the differences between male and female.

Other than that, to understand sometimes mean to sacrifice. We do not have to be on the winning side all the time. Sometimes we need to admit that we are not perfect. Ego is good but hyper-ego is bad. If we do not control our ego to the acceptable level, we will tend to always blame other people or situation and never see us as part of what makes it a bad happening (Ironically for good happening, we will proudly announce that we are part of the source). In short, mirror yourself and embrace your weaknesses.

Do not be afraid to ask the member of the opposite sex about their perspective on us. In that way, we will see us through other people eyes. In that way, we will be wise enough to act on any situation. Whatevr that we decide, is for the best of both parties.

Remember, God do not create Man and Woman without any reason. Believe in that.

Who is bad and who is good?

Shalom my fellow brothers and sisters.

My sharing today is on what I got from watching the movie Shaolin starred by Andy Lau, Jackie Chan and more. Initially I thought that the reason for me to watch the movie is solely for the kung fu action inside. But after went through the movie, experiencing the moral of the story from this movie, I was really touched.

The story started with an army general (Andy Lau) who stops at nothing in order to achieve his ambition all the states in China. The character of the general is totally negative, filled with greed, anger, and he even kill people inside the Shaolin temple (which suppose to be holy place).

Betrayal, is another thing in this story. How the general's second man (the one he trusted) betrayed him during his plan to betray his sworn brother (betrayal above betrayal). What we give, we get back.

This is the part when the general's life become up side down. He was beaten up. His wife is missing. His daughter died. During that time, he ended in the place where he messed up before, Shaolin Temple. Normally, human will have vengeance on others. "You treat me good, I will treat you 100 times good. But if your treat me bad, I will counter with 100 times bad". That is typical human thinking. But what happen is, the Shaolin monk helped the general and ignoring all the bad things he had done to them. One slap on the general's mind.

Turning point. The general decided to join the Shaolin monks. Repented. Doing good deeds. Thinks even better than the other monks who had been living in the temple for years. The leader of the monk did say that, to judge anothe human is not human job. Every human was born with good things inside them. Before this, the general is the most cruel human but now, he has change...

Same goes to us. We normally put brand on other people whenever we look at them doing bad things. We will never know, those who we say bad may one day turn out to be a better good person compare to us. I am not saying that we are bad than others. I just want to point out that we human must see the good side of other human. Do good deeds. Help those in need sincerely. If you see other people are "lost", guide and help them. Not just condemning them. Those who condemning others are those who are condemning themselves. So, be careful when you are talking bad about others.

Let's think about it.

Decorating Christmas Tree

Christmas oh Christmas.. It is around the corner. So what am I gonna do? Must be something meaningful.

So this is what I do. Decorating Christmas tree and create wall banner at home. It is nice and fun experience together with my sister and her familiy members.

This is a very good activity to spend time together with family and avoiding unbeneficial activity. This type of activity is very important to help reviving the spirit of Christmas in our heart.

Getting back to the real meaning of Christmas. For me, it is about sacrifice to help others. It is better that our painfulness bringing happiness to others rather than our happiness causing painfulness to other people. Whatever it is, be good to others and apply win-win situation in our daily activities when communicating with others.

What the future holds?

Look at this picture. 5 minutes before this, the sky was clear. Nobody knew that it was gonna be like this.

So let me ask. Can we predict the future, I mean truly. Nowadays people claimed that they can predict weather. But this type of prediction is based on previous weather pattern. Actually we cannot truly knows what will happen.

And let us look at the sky in the picture. It is so scary. It is as if the world is gonna end. Bright day turn into dark and cold. At this time, people will be nearly connected. Communication between people who do not know each other can happen. Maybe this is the bright side of nature disaster, it bonds people. As we know, people at this time, they rather put their life activities on "online" platform. Can you imagine people who communicate with their housemate via facebook though they can do it face to face. Technology really change our culture, it should be in positive way. But it seems that there is more negative.

The sky reminds us to be weary. Always think that life is temporary. Some people have the thinking that because of life is short, they should enjoy to the fullest so that they will not have any regrets if their life ended. For me, it is fine to enjoy, but we should put it into balance not to over-enjoy because we know that everything "over" will result in negative impact. If not directly to the do'er, it will go to the people around him/her.

Please think back and forward at this present time to re-arrange your plan and do for the better.
Balance is the key. Pray for guidence and you will see.

Do you think you will live longer if you are younger?

Good day everybody.

I love you in Christ name.
I would like to share my thoughts on people and life.

Some people have this kind of thinking;
"I am 20 years old, at least I will live for another 30 years."

But..

How can they determine the remaining of their lives just by
looking at their current age?
There are so many cases where people at the age of 15 can leave
this world. Even, there are human who die after they were just born.

What I would like to announce here is that, life is so unpredictable.
Younger people can have shorter life compared to older people.

Other than age, we should look into health condition and also
"accident" which will take our live in an instance or slowly and painful.
It was a shock for me when last time, one people I know suddenly
passed away due to road accident. That person was only 21 years old
at that point of time. I even met the person just few days ago at town
and there was no sign that the person was going to leave this world.
With good health condition, happy live, "click" just like that, gone.

Conclusion to what I want to share with all of you today is about life
is in the hand of God. So we must live life to the fullest and do
good deeds to each other. It doesn't matter if we live for only a short
while, as long as we have already do our part in the love of each other.

Look at yourself now and say, "Thank you Lord for the life that I have
until this day."

Happy Pentecost Day

Good day my dear reader.
What a long moment of silent I brought in this blog.
And now, during this Holy Day, I wake it up once more.

Today is Pentecost Day 2011. People say "Happy Pentecost Day"
to each relatives and friends, but, how many of us know
what Pentecost is all about?
.
Let me make a simple chain explanation.
We start from Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is in each and
everyone of us. Once we say YES to the Holy Spirit,
the miracle of gifts will work in us.
.
Miracle of gifts can differ from one people to the
others. Some people will receive the gift of language
where he/she is able to speaks different type of
language. Others will receive the gift of public
speaking (being able to speak effectively in front of
public). And many others...
.
In conclusion, we should know that we have Holy Spirit
inside us. Next thing we need to do is to accept and
say Yes. After that we shall receive a gift.

Lazarus vs Rich Man

Happy Sunday to all of you out there.

Today's teaching in the church is really great. The priest touched my heart because what he has said is reality that we everyday do. The priest stressed on the phrase, "You cannot see the beautiful mercy of God unless you experienced the misery of sin."
.
It's true and I totally agree with it. We human tend not to appreciate things until we realize that we are losing it. God was always with us no matter during happy time or hard time. But us human, will only look for God when we are in hard time. We should reconsider that kind of attitude if we really wanted to be saved.
.
Denial. That was the word used by the priest in his sermon. We always hide ourselves from realizing that we are actually committing sin. It is just because of the comfortable and temporary happiness that make us purposely forget things that we should or should not do. Those free thinkers are one of the example given of self denial people. They think that they are the God to themselves. They think too high of themselves which will lead to a lot of bad habits due to pride. When we always remind ourselves that there are greater power taking care of us, automatically humbleness will comes in.

We will reap the same things that we have planted. If you planted corn, in the end, you will reap corn. There is no way for you to plant grape and reaping apple during harvest time. Same concept applied to our life. If we are planting mercy in our life, we will also obtain mercy from God. So be careful on what you are planting today. If you think that what you are planting is not good, better start to re-plant it. Change to better things. It will never be too late as long as you are still breathing.
.
Our soul will feel intense pain even more than our physical body can experience. Pain in our flesh is just temporary but pain in our soul will remain forever. Being in hell will give the pain to our soul. So do you want to go there?
.
Repentance starts from our heart and soul. When we repent for all the sin we have done, we should feel sorrow in our heart. Tears will surely coming out from our eyes thinking of all the bad things we had done. Remember this, if we are not crying in this world, we will cry later in hell. Tears is not allowed in Heaven so if you are crying after-death, you know where is your location at that time.
.
You can still choose your path NOW. Young age does not mean that you have more time to enjoy before getting back on track. Death can come anytime. We cannot escape death, judgment, heaven or hell. So stop being denial. Open your blind eyes and see.
.
It's time for us to calibrate our destination in life.
